Privacy Notice

How Azure Pay collects, uses, shares and protects personal information submitted through this website, and the rights you have.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. Who we are

Azure Pay is a financial technology and software company based at 13 Monkey Close, Ibex Hill, Lusaka, Zambia, and the technology arm of the Azure Financial Services ecosystem. We decide how and why the personal information described in this notice is used, and we aim to handle it in line with Zambia’s Data Protection Act, 2021. You can contact us at afs@azurefinzm.com or on +260 976 364 006.

2. Information we collect

  • Project enquiries. Your name, organisation, job title, work email, phone number, the service you are interested in, your project description and preferred timeframe.
  • Correspondence. Anything you send us by email or tell us by phone in connection with an enquiry or project.
  • Technical data. Our servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, for security and to keep the site working.

Please do not send passwords, account credentials or sensitive customer financial information through the enquiry form.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible project (to take steps you ask for, and our legitimate interest in running our business).
  • To deliver and support services we agree with your organisation.
  • To keep this website and our systems secure and working (our legitimate interest).
  • To meet legal, regulatory, audit and record-keeping duties.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Who we share it with

  • Azure Pay and Azure Financial Services staff who need it to handle your enquiry.
  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as email, hosting and support-ticket systems, who may only use it for our purposes.
  • Regulators, courts and other authorities where the law requires.

5. Transfers outside Zambia

Some of our service providers may process information outside Zambia. Where that happens we aim to ensure it stays protected to a standard comparable to Zambian law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond and, where a project follows, for as long as the business relationship and our legal and record-keeping obligations require. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

7. How we protect it

This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and enquiries are received into access-controlled systems. No online system is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to include credentials or sensitive financial data in an enquiry.

8. Your rights

Subject to the law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you and to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain uses, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Contact us at afs@azurefinzm.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Commissioner.

9. Cookies

This website does not set advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. It loads its typeface from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net), so your browser contacts that service and it receives your IP address and browser details. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
